The 57th Jahrestreffen Deutscher Katalytiker took place in Weimar from March 13 to 15. As in previous years, the conference organized by DECHEMA e.V. offered plenty of opportunities for scientific presentations, exchange and networking within the catalysis community. PD Dr. Thomas Sheppard, Dr. Michael Goepel, Rian Kurniawan, Adrián Osorio Hernández and Michael Liebau attended the conference.

Members of our group had the opportunity to present their research in two poster contributions with the following titles:

  • Adrián Osorio Hernández: “Selective Catalytic Reduction of NO with H2 over Pt/Pd-Containing Catalysts on Silica-Based Supports”
  • Rian Kurniawan: “Influence of Core/Shell Size and Defect Formation on the Activity of ZrO2-TiO2 Composite Photocatalysts”

Michael Liebau also gave a presentation on "FAIR Data in Catalysis" at a workshop organized by NFDI4Cat, at which he and his project colleagues presented innovations and tools for managing research data in the catalysis-related sciences.

The Jahrestreffen Deutscher Katalytiker will once again take place in Weimar in March 2025. We are looking forward to representing Leipzig on site again.
