At the Institute of Analytical Chemistry of the University of Leipzig in the professorship Concentration Analytics we offer temporary positions within the framework of externally funded projects. In addition to the supervision of doctoral theses, bachelor, advanced or master theses on various topics are offered in our working group.
Open positions and doctoral theses
- A PhD position (m/f/d) in the field of analytical chemistry in the area of chemical lab-on-a-chip technology. The position is temporary for a period of 3 years (E13 TV-L, 50%).
The PhD thesis deals with droplet microfluidics for application in chemical microlaboratories. The aim of the work is to develop a technology to be able to follow the catalytic activity and selectivity of individual species by mass spectrometry.
Requirements profile: completed scientific university studies preferably in chemistry. We are looking for an enthusiastic young scientist with team spirit and enjoyment of technical developments. Knowledge in the application of microfluidics of mass spectrometry and/or biocatalysis and organocatalysis is desired.
