Internships and open positions

In the research group of Jun.-Prof. Dr. Julia Westermayr, there is always the opportunity to begin bachelor’s and master’s theses as well as advanced internships. If you are interested, please reach out to us using the contact form. We make every effort to accommodate individual preferences regarding topic selection and start dates; however, due to limited capacity and high demand, we unfortunately cannot fulfill all requests.

You can take inspiration from the suggested topics below, but you are also welcome to propose entirely new ideas of your own. Please do not hesitate to contact us!

Currently available topics for student internships are:

• Unit cell prediction from powder diffraction patterns
• Optimizing the refinement of electron diffraction data sets based on kinematic and dynamic refinements
