Corona test certificate for courses on campus

Dear students,

There will be a charge for the testing centers starting October 11, 2021. For this reason, self-tests will be provided by faculty beginning October 14, 2021. You will receive a maximum of 3 tests per week upon presentation of your Unicard, plus one faculty-authorized self-report each. The test result will remain valid for 48 hours and is to be conducted under the 4-eyes principle according to the specifications of the Rectorate. Detailed information can be found on the UL's FAQ page.

Please come to the study office to pick up the test kits during office hours (Tuesday 13-15, Thursday 9-12, Friday - only in Zi.129: 13-14).

From now on, Leipzig University also offers vaccination appointments again. Always on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (until the end of November) 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Neues Augusteum at Augustusplatz!

Stay healthy!

Do you have problems in the course of your studies?

In the context of the Covid19 pandemic, exceptions have been made with regard to examinations and the course of studies at UL for the summer semester 2020, winter semester 2020/2021 and now also for summer term 2021. This concerns, for example, failed exams, the crediting of semesters and enrollment in the master's program.

  • Cancellation of failed examinations: Failed examination attempts (except in the case of cheating or violation of rules) will automatically be invalidated. The module registration remains intact and the examination procedure continues. Consequently, the student has the possibility to participate in further examination dates offered during the semester. This regulation also applies to the winter semester 2020/21, as well as the summer semester 2021.
  • Extension of the Standard Period of Study: This extension of the standard period of study will take effect for all students without the need to apply. Corresponding certificates of extension of the individual standard period of study will be uploaded to each student’s AlmaWeb account.
