The Faculty Council consists of 17 members, nine of whom are university lecturers, three academic staff, three students, one other staff member and the Equal Opportunities Officer. The term of office of the Faculty Council is three years. The term of office of the student members of the Faculty Council is one year.
The Dean, the Vice-Dean, the Dean of Studies as well as the Assistant to the Dean and the Head of the Office of Student Affairs take part in the meetings in an advisory capacity - if they do not participate as elected members.

Meeting dates

The meetings of the Faculty Council take place regularly at 14:00 in room 027 (Arthur-Hantzsch-Hörsaal, Johannisallee 29). Due to the current Corona pandemic, the meetings take place as video conferences. If you would like to participate in these, please contact the Assistant to the Dean. You will find the current invitations as a file behind the respective date.
